As one year draws to a close, another leads us into the future, where we work together in creating a community that cares for the young, the old, and the earth we share. This is not an easy task, and one that for the past fifty years has been growing, changing and evolving with the dynamics of the seasons and years.

At the core of our efforts has been the view of the human being as body, soul and spirit that can be challenged to be part of life, even up to and beyond the end of life itself. Whether physically able to participate in daily activities or simply be a presence at events or be with the community children at meals, the elder gains experience and insight through these meaningful connections.
